What this does and does not do
This calculates tax on salary and other income for a resident individual, applying slab rates, rebate, surcharge with marginal relief, and cess. It does not handle capital gains, business or professional income, income taxed at special rates, relief for foreign tax, or advance-tax interest. Assessment year 2026-27.
Indicative only
These calculators produce indicative results based only on the figures you enter and the assumptions stated on each page. They are not professional advice and must not be relied on for filing, planning or any other purpose. Tax law changes frequently. Please speak to us about your specific circumstances.

No. It is indicative, works only on what you enter, and does not cover every provision that may apply to you. Use it to understand the shape of the position, then take advice.
