Assurance, Tax & Advisory

Audit & Assurance

Statutory, internal and special-purpose audits that give boards, lenders and investors a dependable view of the numbers.

Overview

An audit is worth far more than the signature at the end of it. Our assurance work is built around understanding how a business actually earns and records revenue, where its judgements sit, and which controls are genuinely load-bearing. The output is a clean opinion where one is warranted - and a clear, early conversation where it is not.

Common questions

Audit & Assurance — questions we are asked

Every company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 is required to have its financial statements audited each financial year, regardless of turnover. Thresholds and exemptions differ for LLPs and other entity types, and the position should be confirmed for your specific facts.

A statutory audit is a legally mandated opinion on whether the financial statements give a true and fair view. An internal audit is commissioned by management or the audit committee to examine the effectiveness of processes, controls and risk management, and its scope is set by the organisation.
